The Path Starts Here

A brisk walk in the cold. Lights sparkling in the trees. Coming home to the savory smell of spiced chai. The holidays are a delightful time — except when they aren’t.

We all experience holiday stress: cramming in more work before time-off, waiting in long lines, planning parties, spending time with family you’d typically avoid.

We spend so much time running around doing sh — er, stuff — that we run ourselves ragged. Before you know it, we just spent our whole vacation recovering from vacation.

Maybe what we need is to spend time nourishing ourselves so that we can truly give to others? Wouldn’t you love feeling completely unrushed, and totally present?

One of the most effective ways I combat the race is through meditation practice. You already have everything you need to meditate, wherever you are, and it doesn’t cost anything to get started.

But getting into meditation can be tough. You might not know where to start. You might not have time to join a center, or you might live too far away. That’s where my friend Susan Piver comes in.

In her Open Heart Project, Susan share’s expert meditation instruction via videos delivered twice weekly by email. If you’ve ever wanted to try meditation, I recommend starting with her.

Susan is one of the most inspiring teachers alive today. If you’ve been looking for a way to nourish yourself, this could be just what you need.
